Slovakia is not an aggressive team at all. More often than not, it causes its opponent to foul than it does. Even in the match against the Belgians, the Slovaks committed fewer violations (11-14) and lost on yellow cards (1-3).The Slovaks showed an excellent game in the first round and deservedly put 3 points in the piggy bank. Moreover, they did not just beat the favorite of the group in the face of the Belgians, but they did it in a spectacular manner, without departing from their high-pressure playing style. Although it would be wrong to ignore the fact that Francesco Calzone's guys were incredibly lucky to win back “to zero”.
